Frequently Asked Questions
What does an initial consultation cost?
190 € plus VAT for consumers, 250 € plus VAT for entrepreneurs. The session lasts up to 60 minutes and is paid upfront when you book online.
How does the initial consultation work?
You book a slot online, give me a brief overview of your situation, and we talk, in person, by phone or video. After our conversation, you'll know where you stand and what to do next.
Do you work on an hourly basis or fixed fee?
Fixed fee whenever possible. You should feel comfortable asking me anything. For court proceedings, statutory fees (RVG) apply.
Which practice areas do you cover?
Corporate law, tax law, employment law, data protection, debt recovery and arbitration. My focus is advising entrepreneurs and founders.
In which languages do you advise?
German, English, Polish and Russian.
Do you also advise internationally?
Yes. I advise clients from the USA, UK, Israel, Poland and other countries. Key areas are market entry into Germany, international tax law and cross-border contract drafting.
What does company formation cost?
Depends on the legal form. A simple UG is cheaper than a GmbH with a complex shareholder agreement. I'll give you a fixed quote after a quick assessment.
What is arbitration?
A private court proceeding. Instead of a state judge, an arbitrator chosen by the parties decides. Faster, confidential and internationally enforceable. Particularly suited for commercial disputes.
Do I need T&C and a privacy policy for my online shop?
Yes. Without legally sound T&C, privacy policy and legal notice you risk legal warnings. I offer a website package at a fixed price.
My client isn't paying. What can I do?
I handle debt recovery: from demand letters through court payment orders to enforcement. Costs are generally borne by the debtor.
Can I also engage you online?
Absolutely. Consultations work great over video. Many of my clients are fully remote.
Where is your office?
Mannheim. Meetings available in person, by phone or video.
