Dr. Adam S. Dampc
Attorney · Researcher · Entrepreneur
Who I am
I'm not your typical lawyer. I'm an entrepreneur who studied law. Or a lawyer who became an entrepreneur. Take your pick.
I've been running my own show for over a decade. Started out as a freelance legal translator, and today I run a law firm in Mannheim, do research at Heidelberg University, and operate a company brokering US government contracts in Germany.
When I advise entrepreneurs, I understand not just the legal side. I understand the pressure, the decisions and the priorities because I know them myself.
International Perspective
My career path wasn't linear. That's the whole point.
- Law studies with a focus on comparative law
- University of Wrocław, Polish and European law
- Russian business law
- Conferences in New York and Jerusalem
- Restructuring and M&A at one of the world's largest law firms
- Research associate for data protection and AI regulation
- Promotion — Dr. iur.
That range isn't accidental. It's my approach. When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. I see the whole picture.
Four languages, one advisor
| Deutsch | Native |
| Polnisch | Native |
| Englisch | Fluent (professional) |
| Russisch | Fluent |
For my international clients this means: advice in your language, without interpreters, without misunderstandings.
Legal advice as strategy
I'm not the kind of lawyer who quotes statutes and sends you a bill. I'm your legal strategist.
When you bring me a problem, you don't just get an answer. You get a plan. What are the options? What does each path cost? Which one fits your business?
Clients often tell me that our conversation was the first time things actually made sense. That's what I aim for every time.
Where research meets practice
As a researcher at Heidelberg University, I work on data protection law and AI regulation. This isn't ivory tower stuff. It means I don't read about regulatory changes in the news; I'm involved in shaping them.
For my clients in tech and e-commerce, this is a direct advantage.
Arbitrator
In addition to my work as an attorney, I am available as an arbitrator in commercial disputes. Arbitration proceedings are faster, confidential and more flexible than state courts.
My international education and multilingualism make me particularly suited for cross-border disputes.
More about arbitrationLet's talk.
